This 12 day tour combines great scenery with in-depth cultural experiences. Trek in the Andes amidst ancient ruins, experience rural indigenous culture on Lake Titicaca and wander through bustling markets in Cuzco.

Day 1: Arrive Lima
Arrive in Lima at any time.

Day 2-4: Puno / Lake Titicaca (L, D, B)
Fly to the town of Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Take a boat trip to visit the Uros and Taquile Islands, then experience authentic Peruvian rural life with a homestay in a small village. Return to Puno on day 4.

Day 5: Cuzco
Enjoy spectacular views of the high Altiplano region on this full day of travel from Puno to Cuzco.

Day 6: Ollantaytambo
Travel with our local guide through the Sacred Valley and visit the picturesque town and Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo.

Day 7-10 : Inca Trail (3B, 3L, 3D)
Travel to km 82 this morning to begin a once in a lifetime journey on the ancient trail of the Incas. Local porters and guides ensure that the trip is worry-free, and there are fascinating ruins and spectacular mountain scenery at every turn. On the final day, climb the steps to Intipunku, the 'Sun Gate', to watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu. Return to Cuzco by train in the afternoon.

Day 11: Cuzco
The longest continually inhabited city on the continent, Cuzco has plenty of history to go with its friendly, colonial atmosphere. The town offers nearby Inca ruins, cobblestone streets, museums, markets and churches. Options include rafting, horseback riding and mountain biking.

Day 12: Depart, breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the Airport.
